Let's start out by saying that re purposing the missiles as head holders is brilliant. I don't think that the heads being shiny is really an issue if these guys are stand alone, but you could always use a magic eraser brushed very lightly to take she shine off rather than using another matte coat. If this is indeed your first effort, it's a really good one. - R |

I used a #3 brush, the paints I kept with the norm acrylic I just bought some from walmart and the hobby store just to try some out. As for my applications I just took my time but I would recommend investing in a magnifying glass and a adjustable clamp. I was not sure I was going to be able to finish these because of the eyes and eyebrows, they are really small details. You could try tooth picks I read somewhere that is a good tool for painting eyes and such. |

Not bad at all. The left eyebrow on the second head is a little crazy as it gets toward the nose, but I really had to look to notice. |
