So finally done.

And this is my new favorite.

Here is the story.

As we have all seen Cobra started dabbling in Zombie making. Knowing Cobra's record, with all their previous chemistry lab experiments, who really thought this would end well.

Well guess what it didn't. It was not very long at all before Compound Z went viral, and I am not talking about it being a big hit on Youtube. No, I am talking about the bad Viral. Mindbender lost total control of the outbreak. Within days it was a global epidemic. Yes Cobra finally conquered the world but not in a positive way. The current situation is full blown zombie apocalypse.

Cobra organization crumbled and scattered. It is believed that the top brass were able to avoid infection but most of the marching force are wandering around aimlessly looking for brains. Zartan had Thrasher snag one of the trucks from the Extensive Enterprise truck fleet. Then Ripper, Buzzer and Torch got busy transforming it into ride to help them stay alive.

They slapped a set of spinning decapitation blades on the front with a cattle guard bumper below them. Torch insisted on throwing a flame thrower platform on top. The flame thrower does work for killing zombies but the truth is flaming zombies stumbling around can present their own problems. Put a passenger cage on the back and built a platform to haul an ATV (which they made zombie proof) so they could make runs in locations where the truck would not go very easily.

The trucks primary goal is just to cut a path for the Dreadnok convoy. It also has the added advantage of being able to hook up to an 18 wheeler trailer and haul as much loot as they want.

If you were not following the WIP thread, this whole thing is built around a Thunder machine.

i could see it clearing a city street of the pesky undead!

those silver tanks look like the septic unit from joe dirt!
on the atv, one tip over and you would be lunch!

what about a taller wheeled atv that you could drive upside down in a pinch? maybe just a half circl roll cage, so if you flipped forward you would have a chance of getting back on your wheels.

love the genny too, great addition!

The tanks are actually Sky Striker belly tanks.

If it tipped you would be stranded but hopefully not lunch. Zartan would have to sit there and wait until he was missed and the rest of the crew came to get him.

looks really good. the only thing i dont care for is the gunners box on top of the cab. makes it look top heavy/off balance IMO.

other than that, awesome :)

Thanks

But think about a semi tractor. If it had a sleeper in place of the cage the sleeper would be almost that tall plus there would be a heavy fiberglass spoiler on top of the cab to redirect the air around the tall sleeper and cut down on drag. I would have no fear of it being top heavy if it was my zombie ride.

That turned out awesome. I'd been watching your wip thread. Only thing left to add is some empty grape soda cans in the gunners station and the back of the truck.

I'd like to have seen the truck before you DREMELed it. Definitely one of your best.

Suburbanator I have several WIP pics exactly what stage were you wanting to see? In the very beginning it was a Thunder Machine. Not sure if that is what you are asking or not though.

And then put a couple more hours in on it Thursday and it is starting to take shape.

I also wanted to take an inside shot while I was at it to prove that there is a Thunder Machine buried in there somewhere before I seal it together.

I sort of love the little tiny side vehicle.

Ok, I did not realize that the cab, hood and fenders were all custom fabricated. I thought they came from a toy truck
