I hated the Avengers figures. The lack of mid-torso/waist articulation just killed them for me. For most of them, I didn't mind (there were more than enough Cap, Ironman, and Thor figures will full articulation), but I really liked Hawkeye's character design. So I made my own. It's a lot of sculpting on a trooper torso. I also added wrist articulation, which doesn't really show up in the pictures.

Parts
Head: Avengers Hawkeye
Torso: Renegades Cobra Trooper (modified)
Legs: Renegades Snake Eyes
Arms: Avengers Hawkeye (wrist articulation added)

I also wasn't a huge fan of the Avengers Nick Fury, despite the full articulation. Just didn't like the use of the Winter Soldier body for him. So I whipped together an easy version.

I did something very similar with my Fury (I think I took the IM2 Beachhead sculpt and gave him movie roadblock legs...

But hot damn that's an awesome Hawkeye. If I saw this pic, without being on JoeCustoms, I would truly think I had just seen a proto for what the Avengers figure should have been. Nicely done. Very nice.

Nice! how did you add wrist articulation? That is the only thing that annoys me about him.

I really do not understand why Hasbro took the stupid steps to down articulation on the figures and make them smaller too.

The Hawkeye custom screams Hawkeye through and through. Never have enougj articulation moreso when based on an active character.
Curious what you did for wrist mods too. I tend to use the 4mm revoltech if a new joint for wrist.

Fury looks very cool too
Dont take it the wrong way but personally not 100% sure on the combat shirt arms from cobra trooper/Joes.

Fantastic job on that Hawkeye!
The only critique is that he is holding his bow in the wrong hand.

hawkeyes sculpt work is really well done, Fury looks better than the hasbro figure too
