Tread Ripper

I've liked the Tread Ripper since it was released despite its flaws. Having one I figured I give a shot at fixing them. I added a window to the center area of the roll bar, as well as mesh. For the front I tried a lot of different options before deciding on using the mesh there as well.

Since I've finished it I've already come up with several improvements and will be making them over the next week or two so expect to see this again.

Devilfish #2

I made this for a commission. The person sent me the boat and I gave it the SGCaper treatment.

Wow. That Tread Ripper is fantastic. You made it purchase worthy.

Thanks! It's got a lot of potential just needs a little work.

Agreed @ mesh on tread ripper - is that just fiberglass screen material?

Joemichaels it's metal screen material. I got it from a handy man job years ago, it comes in handy from time to time. I should probably switch to the fiberglass type but this stuff is so bendable and keeps it's shape well.

The part that covers the gaping hole in the front is simply bent to shape and wedged in, it's totally removable. Which is what I wanted so I can do my second version.

Really good job with that Medi-Viper. I mean the unmasked face ain't the prettiest but you did the best you could with what you had to work with. :shifty:

The camo on all of these looks good as usual. The Onesi in his NEST uniform is a pretty slick combo of parts.

Ha! Yeah it was difficult but I did my best. :)

Thanks. I wanted a dressier uniform and that seemed to work. I may use it again. :)
