By the turn of the millenium, it was clear that all quarantine and containment measures had failed on both Isla Nublar and Isla Sorna as InGen pursued sightings and incident reports up and down the west coast of Central America. When, almost unbelievable, reports started spreading to Polynesia and the Caribbean, InGen began to assemble a dedicated team of contractors to investigate and contain any further incidents.

Got the Mercenary prototype for my birthday back in May, and really liked it. I decided to tackle fleshing out the Jurassic Park Joes, modifying the retail figures and customizing the unproduced team member. Eventually I'd like to gut the Explorer and rebuild the interior, but for now it makes a nice backdrop.

To find out a little more about each team member, check out their profiles and part recipes here:

Hank "Fixer" Abrams

Dominick "Tracker" Visser

Ash "Striker" Villalobos

Benedict "Gunner" Gordon and ex-JDF Mercs

Is that the Ford Explorer from the original JP toyline? If so, that is sweet how nice it looks with this team.

It is! It's just a little big, and evidently they're pretty sought after so it took a while to find one in decent shape and not $100+. Got a good deal on this one, needs a little touch up and I'd like to make a custom interior, but yeah, can't ask for a better background prop.

Big fan of this project - Like Chronophiles, it's a nice diversion from zombiepocolyptic dystopianism.

Those Bazooka helmets go really well with the JP Resolute trooper mold colours.

Great Stuff, any plan to do the AWE Striker Troopers or the pilot?

I might eventually do the AWE troopers, but after using the Resolute Trooper body three time already (For Gunner and his Mercs), it feels a little redundant and doesn't grab my interest much.

The Airborne/Scrap Iron Vest/Mercer Head pilot is a good idea, though. I should have those parts and just need to decide on a color scheme and a helmet.

These are great! I like that they each have their own unique traits, but that their uniforms form a cohesive unit. Reminds me a bit of the OG13 in that sense.
