I have had this idea for a long time, finally I found all the parts to do it but know I kind of regret building this thing as it's so big. Originally I wanted 8 treads but they are too big to fit on the inside. I cut one in half and it fit but looked stupid. I could have cut big holes in the body but honestly I did not want that much work.

That's like a rolling headquarters. Looks good.

Looks like an 80's era NES boss from something like Ikari Warriors or Contra... a nice combination of ridiculous and amazing.

It's ridiculous for sure, I've got ten hours in just the prep and paint alone and that's is only one colour. Five full cans of Krylon flat black. If I had an air brush it would be much easier.

5 cans of Krylon? Holy moly.

Yup I new it would take a lot that's why I used the black, it covers really well. I've never been so sick of painting anything.

It may actually be respiratory poisoning at that point. :-/

If you are looking for a name, it would have to be the Cobra EPIC. I don't know what the letters stand for, but it doesn't matter. This thing is just incredible.

Love this! The dual turrets are awesome. I can definitely see this as Cobra's answer to the the Joe's MCC

Jeebus that's a tank! I like it! That's going to look killer when it's all stickered up.

I would almost suggest adding some blue or red here and there.

You could label it 7880 instead of 788, since it packs that much more firepower than a hiss lol.

That is one heck of a rolling demolition machine.

I wore a mask and painted outside but honestly I wasn't feeling great after. I have a few ideas for the name, Epic is cool too.

Definately!
I'm curious for what you have in mind for the space where the original mortar used to be. Looking at the rest of this vehicle that must be something outrageous......

I've been wanting to COBRAize a General for 37 Forever, it seems. I was planning to call mine the COBRA Conqueror. Other than the added details, this is about how I figured it would look. Most impressive.

I wanted to put the Thunder Clap cannon in there but it's too big. I will probably just use the one it came with.
