I am having some better days where my hands aren't shaky, so trying to fit in some figures while waiting on parts for vehicles. All feedback is welcome, and sorry for the dark pics. I plan on having the Mrs. take better pics with her camera.

Code name: Slipknot
Name: Biner, Kara J.
Primary Military Specialty: Mountaineer/Climbing Instructor
Secondary Military Specialty: Forward Recon/Intelligence

Slipknot started showing her talents for climbing, at the early age of two, by climbing over any obstacle or gate, that her mother put up to corral her. At four years old, her adopted uncle, Alpine, started getting calls to help find her, as she would disappear up a tree, and be found several blocks away, in a another tree. No one in the neighborhood ever saw her come down, anywhere in between. By the age of ten, she was going on rock and mountain climbs with Alpine, and he had a hard time keeping up with her. As she got older, she joined the Army, and excelled in climbing, stealth and reconnaissance, as well as hand-to-hand combat and ground fighting tactics. General Abernathy went along with Alpine and Slipknot on a recreational climb once, and was so amazed that she was immediately recruited to the Joes. She is also proficient in edged weapons, and highly skilled with the crossbow, thanks to her mentors Scarlett, Jinx, and Snake-Eyes.
From the files of Gen. Abernathy- " Slipknot is a fitting name for her. She can scurry up a sheer cliff face, faster than Snake-Eyes, sneak into enemy territory, gather the needed intel, take out adversaries if needed, and return to her team, all without anyone ever knowing she was there."

So much awesome going on in this picture -

the wedges and the carabiners are definitely my fave part.

I like everything you've got going on here, except for Scarlett's red hair -- i think you should've painted it, as it's just too iconic -

great job!

Thanks! I know what you mean about the hair, but the helmet is such a snug fit, the paint would scrape off easily. I plan on trying to locate another short-haired head, just needs to have factory paint and fit the helmet.

Cool concept.

I would suggest some type of sat phone and a laser designator/electronic doo-dad so she can gather HUMINT to report back to base.

Very cool. Pretty distinct look for a new character, but would still fit in with Alpine and other climbers.

Ditto. Great touch with those.

Again ditto, but I get what you're saying about the paint rub. Catch 22.

agree with the others on most points, and I'd personally be inclined to paint even more than that for a unique look. That said, she is awesome as-is. The accessories here are inspired.

Thanks guys! Drbindy, her legs and waist are painted, and I also did some detail work on her top, but it is hard to tell in the pics. When my wife takes new pics, I will post them.

looking forward to new pics, she does look pretty neat and a new female styled character. Her red hair needs changed but you already explained that of course

Thanks? I am trying to locate a new head, and was wanting to try to list her in the Gallery, but the picture thing is killing me!
