I was admiring these mothers on Facebook. That's a great use of that head. And since I dig Chuckles, I like that you've got him covered for multiple uses. Awesome "LASER BLAST", bro

Only thing I'm not digging is the tiny "Popeye" effect of the forearms of the blue shirt version. But I really like where you went with these. Just about every aspect of Chuckles is covered and done really well.

I agree the pics make the forearms look like Popeye but in hand they don't look like that.

Awesome sauce (do the kids still say that?). Looks great! Did you make some kind of a stamp to do the flowers?

Thanks. None of my students say that.

You know what, I actually did the flowers twice, I painted over my first attempt really unhappy with how they came out. When I did my second attempt I was still really unhappy with them so I started to paint over them again. When i did this I didn't have enough paint on my brush and ended up doing a light drybrushing of blue. I did this to the rest to see what it would do, it hides some of the crappiness of the paint job. I was so frustrated I didn't want to try again and this is the result.

Not sure how a stamp would work with the varying folds and contours of the body but it might be worth a try.

Great update and original concepts for Chuckles. Always liked that character and this is his best looks yet.

I commented on this already somewhere, but it's just a magnificent set, and really helps legitimize the character for me also.
