Here's a 2 for 1 from the Red Shadows. First up is the SHADOWTRAK:

Really great work here. Super clean. Super effective. A figure I would have searched for as a kid.

I'm looking at the vehicle and I'm thinking something needs done with the wheels. The body has all the red going on and it looks great, but the black and white wheels look off.

I'm not sure either painting the sections between the wheel tread plates or doing something with the white on the sides.

Holy crap. First of all, the figure is outstanding (as usual): love the modifications to the chest. The overall look is perfect: it differentiates him from the soldiers but keeps him right in line with them, design-wise. The vehicle, though...wow. It's everything an update could hope to be: reminiscent of the original, but with its own distinct look. I'd start singling things out for praise, but it would just end up being a comprehensive list of everything in the pictures. I can't say enough good things about this one; outstanding work!

Oh, and P.S.: I've watched 5 Elements Ninja about 20 times now; thanks again!

That's one of those Laser force toys. They were made by Gay toys in the 80s.

I thought about that too but I felt it was best to leave the wheels as they are, especially after all the issues I had with this vehicle initially when fixing it up.

Like Blood Brigade said, its from a toyline called Laser Force from the 80's by a company called Gay Toys Inc.,. Here's a pic of what it original vehicle looked like, minus the front and rear cockpit canopy:

I think the wheels work spectacularly with the white skull sigils.

I had some of those Laser Force toys as a kid and loved them...Great work here on the painting for both the vehicle and the figure itself. The Barbeque head and Vader Helmet look fantastic together!
