The mold is awesome, but I would suggest a smoother silver for the faceplate. I would suggest using an opaque silver paint pen with high reflectivity (available from Michaels and craft stores) to get a better level of smooth silveryness.

I hear that silver sharpies can look really smooth on casted material too, but I haven't tried that. Either way leave a while to let them dry before touching, and maybe give them a spray coat.

But the sculpting is awesome. What inspired it?

I like the sculpt. Something isn't sitting right me though. Maybe it is the lighter blue used in the painted version pic, but I'm getting more of a Cobra Commander vibe from it. Could you possibly show one off in dark blue?

i like it too. Looks like a Sigma 6 trooper helmet with a face plate.

I like the blue painted one. It's almost like a Transformers/GIJOE crossover look for a new Viper.

Maybe it's even a next-gen Viper helmet.

I can definitely see a couple of guys wearing these while leading other Cobra troops, what if they are Viper Officers?

yea thats the vibe i got from it, some of the 2.5 sigma heads are some of the coolest head sculpts i've seen n a while my casting skills are still stuggling but some of those heads would be great in 3 3/4 scale
