I've been watching the 1980 Flash Gordon movie with my son a lot lately, and figured I'd do a custom of the savior of the universe. He's still a work in progress, but I should have the "Flash" logo and fine detailing done in about a week. I plan on doing him in a couple more outfits and maybe some other characters as well.

That is coming along very well so far and actually looks like something that might have been made back when the film came out! Can't wait to see him finished!

That looks great. Whos legs are those? I've been looking to do a custom and those legs and waist are ideal for what I have planned. |

The bottom part of the legs and one thigh came from Shipwreck, the other thigh is from Cutter. They each had holsters on the opposite leg so I was able to was them out. |

I love it. I've been wanting to make a Flash Gordon custom for years, but I never got around to it. This is a perfect rendition of him. The head choice is dead-on. Can't wait for some more. Excellent timing, too: a revival theater in L.A. is showing Flash Gordon tonight, so I'll finally get to see it on a big screen. |
