Well it still takes a LOT of imagination at this point but I have started on a new Heavy Hauler vehicle. I am going to call it the Cobra Beast.

Nose is coming together. Blunted it down a bit tonight. Still needs detailed but I think the shape of the nose is largely set.

I am hoping the finished product is at least as tough or tougher then Goliath when it is done.

It doesnt look anything like what I had made in my head before I started but that is normal for my projects. They kinda grow and develope on their own. Been working on the cab interior today.

I rarely document an entire build but I am conciously trying to make a photo update every day (or at least every day I do something to it.

Finished filling holes in the nose. Built most of the cab interior. Started building the troop section.

OK the need for imagination is decreasing. Lengthened the chassis, connected the troop box to the cab and cut down the truck bed I wanted to use for the cargo box.

I'm curious why you put the rear doors behind the white box part instead of in front of it? The rear cargo cover is looking pretty cool.

Those doors will not exist when I am done. Those doors will get puttied and covered. I will be adding a door like the one on Goliath about mid way up. I wanted to use the back of the cab in the back for the shape.

Cut out the front windows, added armor to the side windows and started building gunner mount.

Havent been able to work on it much the last couple of days. I have done some detail work every day but had not done enough daily to warrant pics of progress. Have detailed the front hood over the engine. Also started building the front bumper, cut the door out in the troop section, added bars over the front windows. I am currently working on the muffler, I picked up a mini heat gun at the thrift store a little while back and it works awesome for bending the Styrene tubes.

Thanks, it will get a lot meaner looking I hope once I get to paint it. It is amazing what a coat of paint does to the build.
