Got a great test gift from the gents at Angelforge, my noggin in the clear crystalline blue I use to represent invisibility or a chameleon spell. Always wanted to make one for my fantasy self custom since invisibility is always part of my adventuring or exploring kit. The major problem was trying to find a set of similar clothing to my current set, which is trimmed Assassin's Creed Doctor outfit, with the Prince of Persia Dastan belt, and Leonardo DaVinci's legs also from the Assassin's Creed line. Wanted a good set of exploring boots.

This was/is as close as I am going to get given what is out there amongst the affordable Star Wars holographic figures. I even managed to craft a single arrow from the stem of the holographic Emperor Palatine's shooting power bolts(not pictured). Now if only I can find a recurve bow in the same crystalline blue.

It took a Count Dooku base, Obi wan lower arms for the boot covers, and the cape to use for the shoulder yoke. The item I have to reattach that came off during all the boil and popping was the custom arrow string bag that the original has. The blue one was made from a holographic Plo Kloon's cheek meat, and my arm guard was cut from a holographic Ki Ari Mundi wrist. He also sent me my favorite medusa head and a mind flayer done this way so they will get the same invisibility treatment. I know, using clear would be better, but I know nearly every clear done existing toy both here and in Japan, and save an invisible woman for my medusa, the clothing analogs just aren't out there, even among Thundercat or Hobbit fare.

Very cool!

That looks like a full on production figure.

oh holy hell that's cool Cap. Also my first glimpse of your main character figure as well. Looks like it was made that way.

Thanks gents.

Here's the medusa and mind flyer. The Illithid is just a head swap, well, a swap where the post was carved to fit. The medusa uses Aayla Secura's body, but with Obi wan's hands because they should be larger due to the claws. Since all of my medusae are barefoot, I used the feet from the five inch Cortana figure, which actually has much smaller feet than the four inch static one from the lighted base. I fashioned a post from a clear lightsaber, so her feet can move left and right.

Lol D, you should see my Skyrim self custom side by side the actual game play character, they are nearly identical.

I tell you, the hardest part of the self custom was trying to make lower bare arms. I used Dooku's, but had to trim them in my small pencil sharpeners until they were the circumference of the wrist or upper hands.

Here is the single arrow and the Star Wars Emperor accessory I took the post from. If anyone knows anyone casting recurve bows in this clear color let me know. I could have sworn that Aly's site did, but could be mistaken. Been a long time.

Sometimes I have luck with translucent weapons in the Lego 3rd party stuff, but all I can find right now are some arrows.

Nova casts stuff in clear and translucent all the time for what it's worth

It's a little lighter blue, but could you carve this into the bow?

Image

It came with the Ice viper from the movie line. If you need one drop me a PM.

Also, if you can find something in clear, the tamya blue clear paint comes out in that color. Maybe you could cast one yourself in hot glue and paint it?

What does the recurve bow that you want to do look like?

Thanks again.

On the bow, one was right underneath my digital nose. Angelforge has a recurve bow new in their accessories. So perhaps next budget run in June, I will ask if they can make it crystal blue in an order along with another of my noggin in the same blue. I noticed a fissure on my astral selfie by the hair to the left cheek causing a one half inch crack due to the neck post width. Bummer.

My character also carries and uses a small crossbow with a wolf's head at the front that I bashed some years ago from bits kibble. Would love to see about getting that done as it is very unique and very fantasy.

Thanks all.
