  • This section is for honest critique of the work shown here. Members are encouraged to give and accept non-confrontational constructive criticism as well as adoring praise and everything in between.
  • In order to show case everyone's work equally, please post multiple customs on the same day into a single thread. If you have a lot of pictures of your work you may have to add them to a separate post within that thread.
  • Please do not link to a sale thread or to eBay from your critique thread. This section isn't to be used to market your finished work. The Market Place section is better suited for that purpose.

seems like i have only wips,and now i add more! as i work on them i will post in this thred. when i pick up on older wip's i'll add them here too. today i struck out in 2 different directions :tictoc:

quick update pic, still a lot to be done! i think i'm going to try dye for the uniforms. i think the black made the boots look more time correct, but this movie is tricky! they use some 6 position stocked AR's way too new for vietnam.that is also smart though,kind of a jab at hollywood.

the modded- painted -giant arms on speedman have got to go! besides that i think part selection is done. i do have helmets, i'm not sure who if any are gonna wear them.

4leaf is coming along. after seeing these pics i need to work on the eyes of chino and osiris!

paint is coming along nice on the gaurd tower. i think the cliffs are done, but the tower itself is still up in the air. the first 3 shots show each side of the rock outcrop, 1 land side and 2 by sea .the last shot was with no flash!

this is getting frustrating, my respect for the art of customizing deepens with every brush stroke! these are my best pictures out of too many to count, i'm having a hard time with light....it shows all my mistakes!

Friend... I like what you've got going on here. But that tower stole my wallet and ran up all my credit cards and I don't even care! That's awesome! Is there a floor for figures to stand in up at the top? Because that would put this over the top.

yeah, that "found item" tower is awesome.

keep on it with the figures and the painting. you'll get to where you're happy with it. Thin out the paint and apply multiple thin coats. Best advice you can get. And I have to remind myself of it from time to time also, as there's always the temptation to get it done quick.

i have plans to install one, from the bottom.

i have everything for a second tower, except the top. the piece pictured is the frame of an ultrasonic basket. my wife said she saw some reusable coffee filters that looked exactly the same at the everythings a dollar store.

today i worked on my GHOST BC project. mostly i built a drum set, which is very, very hard. scaling off of internet pics and trying to get the most details was a challenge. i also swapped bodies and robes on my papa emeritus.

GHOST is performing on the island of anton lavey when my team infiltrates and takes the .............

I think you succeeded in making it realistic. As far as I can see only the edges of the circular shapes might need some touch ups.
