Hi-Tech

While editing the last podcast where we discussed characters that would be perfect using the MTF guys as the base for, I thougt about Hi-Tech. Just about $13 worth of MTF pouches, harness, and grenade loops later and all I needed was a head. That's when Star Wars Geek came to the resuce when he was giving away free cast heads during NJCC and just happened to give me a MU Longshot. I slapped it together, did some quick base coats, rough eyes, and then sat on it for a month. Finally got a chance to finish him and take the pics.

Ok, I never really cared for the original Hi-Tech design, but damn if you didn't nail it perfectly with the MTF parts.

Please tell me someone is casting that Lazer Tag rifle. And the pistols. Oh yeah, great Hi-Tech, blah blah, now about that Lazer Tag rifle, where can I get a bunch of them?

Yeah, no, seriously, I'm back because I can't get over how much I love that LazerTag rifle. Just wonderful. The rest of the custom is great, too.

Looking at it closer, its just a modified Marauder XM-8. Of course it is, this is a pluv custom. Genius! ... now about getting that cast ... :shifty:

Lazer tag rifle is awesome. Are you surprised it stole the show? It was the first thing I noticed too, but it really is a good figure even without that, the head is so goofy but in a good way.

So many mulleted customs, so few of those cast heads.

Sorry, Mysterious Stranger, no plans for casting it just yet. Really, I just added it for the picture. This pic was in the podcast section for a while now showing the rifle and the pistol I made.

I second this and now plan on doing this to all of those rifles in my fodder box.

Also really nice work on a character you don't see too often.
