  • This section is for honest critique of the work shown here. Members are encouraged to give and accept non-confrontational constructive criticism as well as adoring praise and everything in between.
  • In order to show case everyone's work equally, please post multiple customs on the same day into a single thread. If you have a lot of pictures of your work you may have to add them to a separate post within that thread.
  • Please do not link to a sale thread or to eBay from your critique thread. This section isn't to be used to market your finished work. The Market Place section is better suited for that purpose.

Excerpt From The "Galactic Geographic (Fifth Edition)" Entry "Major Fauna Of Tolkien III: Part XXI":

"Giant leeches can be found in caves across the whole of Tolkien III. They range in size from .25m to 9m in length and come in several radically different appearing subspecies.

Giant leeches attack their prey and drain them of blood for nourishment. The smaller subspecies tend to attack in groups or swarms and can overwhelm a standard sized sentient with ease. The larger subspecies tend to be solitary, able to capture prey on their own due to their larger size and strength.

Some subspecies use bioluminescence to lure in prey, possessing tentacles, cilia and even tongues that emit their own light in the dark realms in which they live.

Some of the largest subspecies build nests of their own mucus deep in the darkest, dankest caves. They remain enshrouded in these cocoons, lying in wait for hapless animals or adventurers to stumble upon them, luring them in with their bioluminescent appendages. These large specimens could be thousands or solar years old as giant leeches have long life spans unless they are killed by questing heroes."

The cranial tentacles and tongue glow in the dark.
