Every Joe #220: Beast Ninja Soldier

Part of the forgotten Micro Force line of static mini figures, Beast Ninja Soldier was the apparent bruise of the Beast Ninja. It's hard to not see a heavy Wolverine influence in the Hasbro design, given the use of the claw blades.

Great take on a character with so little source material.

Nice work. Been thinking of making some of the original characters from that line in Hero Forge.

new one to me. i like him. the other guys really push this one past a character illustration for me. it's funny, and it's cool art.

Undertow head
Wildcard torso and arms
Outback legs and lower torso

Thanks!

At one point Hasbro had planned modern era releases planned of a few of the Micro Force figures, it would have been great to have gotten them.

Yes, please do. The more interest that anyone can generate in the Micro Force figures, the better! I'd like to see how they come out.

I had no interest in them, then a friend gave me a ton of them for X-Mas one year, knowing that I'd end up tracking down the rest. They're fun, in their own strange way.

Thanks.

I've started putting more characters in some of the pieces, typically as a foe for the subject to be fighting. Adding Snake-Eyes and Quick Kick also let me slip in SE in his spandex uniform (which I don't like as much as the commando attire) and QK with his beard (which appeared after being a POW in the Marvel's run, a night character growth element).

Yes, that recipe would nail it. Plus the Storm Shadow v2/multiple Ninja Force figures claw blades, of course.

I've had most of them parted out, this picture had me going back through my ninja WIPs. Can't decide if I like the armored legs of the concept figure or the untucked pants from the microforce version more. Seeing the design in action really sells it, nice work.

That is awesome. Way to put some badassery into an otherwise forgotten character.
