I like this! It definitely fits in either scenario you've given, and the driver looks like a guy with a past, especially with the dog tags he's wearing. Great work, yet again, Doc! -Todd Shakka85 |

I really like the use of that base for a sci fi taxi! the driver is totally believable and well executed as well! some part of me wishes the driver looked like the mars taxi driver from the og total recall! |

Even your throwaway, background figures are outstanding. Bags of character here 2DARK2C wrote: some part of me wishes the driver looked like the mars taxi driver from the og total recall! Lol, yeah. "Hey man, Ive got 5 kids to feed!" |

The only way to improve this is to 'old' them both up. They'll look like they have more backstory if they both have more gray and more dings and scrapes on them. |

Thanks gents. And yeah, AV, I haven't got to the weathering stage on the taxi yet. At a bare minimum it's going to get some city grime going on |

Looking great. Taxi needs a roof light though. Like Todd said, the military style pants and dog tags give him some history, even if it never gets explored. Dig it. |

Well, it being sci-fi and all, you could maybe just use a rectangle of clear plexiglass or styrene and put the text on that? Holographic or projected kind of? |

Oooh, or use one of those small fuses. http://ace.imageg.net/graphics/product_ ... enh-z7.jpg put it in the center of the roof perpendicular to the centerline of the vehicle. Might have to make some mounts for it though . . . . |

Empty exacto blade case? |

maybe a clear bubblegum machine bubble, one of the small ones. you could mount heads in it like jonny cab or genie cab... the hologram idea is great. if you stenciled the logo on a clear sign with something that reacted with black light it might photo like a hologram. eta: possibly a tic-tac box |

Try looking through your kids Lego. Might be something that could work in there. |
