I have been wanting to make a slaughter custom for awhile. I have a roadblock and bnb head cast to make a modern version. I saw this head for sale at jasons joes and nostalgia hit.

I had to buy it and then the question (how am I going to make the ultimate arah slaghter?) possessed me.

after hours of gutting, grinding and gluing I got a figure pieced together last night. there are a few problem areas that I would like to address. #1 is the head to neck interface, the original ball neck was thin in my eyes, but my transplant leaves much to be desired from most angles it looks weird. #2 thin theighs, I really like the height I got from the newsculpt bat legs, but they seem skinny for sarge.

recipe is:
89 slaughter head
dtc major barrage torso/arms
new sculpt? crotch
ns bat legs
bbi? boots
build-n-brawl hands/elbow pads

no paint yet, but I plan a classic look with green shirt, white belt, and black/green boots. I also need to make accessories.

please let me know what you guys think :)
any insight on fixing my trouble spots?

well if a picture is worth a thousand words, the ones above might say no x1000 :)

maybe I smoked a classic sarge head for nothing, or maybe I would of never made an arah version if not for it's sacrifice.

anyway.........I really like this build for slaughter, sans the head I see a realistically sized and decent proportioned sarge.

i'm seriously considering shelving this roadblock version. I like the completed ones I have seen but i'm not sure I need 2.

there will be some head fitment issues, but I really dig this so far!

yeah - 1) skip the vintage head

2) the o-ring sculpt with the new head makes the whole thing look well proportioned

3) The Retaliation Roadblock body has been done to death as the Sarge, but your build on the o-ring is going to be unique

4) that leaves you a ton of other possibilities for the Roadblock body on other projects
