Satellite recon confirms a test firing of the MASS device from the Moonbase was done. It resulted in a temporary portal and atmosphere pocket to appear above the facility. Debris and rock formations fell from the portal activation the Exterior defense units to activate to preserve the outer dyson-biosphere. These hulking versions of BATs are heavily armored and equally armed. Laser gauss cannons mounted to their arm prevented any damage to the facility.
