I saw the WorldPeacekeepers Jeep-type vehicle in Big Lots, and thought the wheelbase looked about the same as my Dromida SC18 RC truck...

It sets off the chassis a bit higher than I like, but I don't think I can lower it anymore...

Perhaps what you could do is change out the wheels for bigger ones. No idea how hard that that be to do, but some of those RC wheels come off easily.
