I saw this Playmobil hot rod awhile back and always thought it had potential. I then saw another customizer paint one up, then I knew I had to make one. I used the rat rod style to make it dirty and worn. Wanting to keep with a Joe theme I added shark teeth and a pin up girl on the trunk from Bad Mother Tattoos. Overall I think it turned out how I envisioned it. Enjoy ImageImageImageImageImageImage

Fun stuff. This is the kind of thing that would be great for the GI Joe Go-Cart GP!

The only thing I would do is add some of that tan weathering around the decals, to make it look like Duke is still working on it.

The white around the pin-up decal and the thickness of the Tiger Force decal, to me, look like they are something Duke (or Clutch) temporarily slapped on to eyeball how it is gonna look when finished.

Not slamming your effort, just giving an in-universe background to the vehicle itself. :D

The waterslides had a white backing, so unfortunately there was always a thin white strip, i tried washing it, but it didn't hide it completely.

I just noticed the cherry bomb type mufflers. they get lost in the black. maybe paint them red??

also did you mod it to fit a joe size figure? or will it fit from the get go?

That's a fun use for the Playmobil Rod. How well do modern Joes fit? Did you have to modify it?

Quite a bit of modification was done, had to raise the engine up, cut holes, made custom radiator shroud, custom pipes.

with being a one seater it really reminds me of the 50's era indy cars.

I bought one of those TMNT hot rods to bash onto a damaged Thunder Machine.

Gotta get to it now...
