One of my favorite 60s GI Joe sets is the Action Pilot Air Police. The ARAH team has lots of MPs, but no APs, so I brought the concept into the ARAH universe.

The vamp is my first real attempt at cutting away section of the existing vehicle and rebuilding. The original gun deck was cut away and replaced with guard rails and a lowered cargo bed: perfect for Junyard, Order, Lamont, perps, or gear. The front ram is from a Lanard Corps! vehicle and the light bar is Imaginext.

They both look great. That head works well with the law parts and I like the vamp with a light bar on top.

Rotating in the soldier/marine head is perfect. Wonderful paints, too.

Any thoughts about repainting a Junkyard to go with him? (I'm thinking Junkyard to sidestep the Law & Order look if you use an Order figure).

I love me some VAMP mods and this one is clean and fits the bill nicely. Are you going to put anything on the hood to fill those peg holes?

I like that idea quite a bit. I had paired him up with a gray version of Order and was not happy with it. Junkyard might be the answer.

The mods are pretty basic, there are still gaps at the sides and the cuts aren't perfectly even, but here are some pics:
