I was expecting a flaming skull In the old Marvel Joe comic, there was some problem with then using the name Ghostrider, maybe because of the leather jacket he was too similar to the actual Marvel character, so Larry Hama (I think) just wrote it as none of the Joe's being able to remember his codename. At least that's how I remember it. |

The Ghostrider gijoe figure came out in 1988, but the grey pants leather jacketed Danny Ketch Ghost Rider debuted in may 1990 after marvel reaquired the rights after letting them expire briefly in 1985 |
