It's my summer vacation again. While I am in Firefighter School and EMT School I'm hoping to make a little time to finish some projects on my desk. I figured I'd just post them in one thread as I go.

While my Danger Mouse figure was made this summer I already posted it in its own thread so here's the first figure for this one.

Something different today.

Today's figure.

The Bride of Frankenstein.

Is she another undead creature walking the Earth, cursed with the never ending thirst for flesh or something else?

The Monster Squad plans to find out.

Crunch, creek, and rattle.
He is getting near.
Snap, shatter, and scream.
He is your worst fear.
Step by step he comes.
Ever so near.
Pray he doesn't hear you breathe.
The Bone Man is here.

So to encourage myself to finish some customs I'm posting pics of the WIPs I currently have sitting on my desk.

This first one is super basic right now. I'm thinking it may become a new Croc Master.

Image

These three are for a commission I've been working on for I don't know how long now. I'm determined to finish these by the end of this month.

Image

This Jeep goes with them. I tried some new weathering techniques for rust, using salt.

Image

2 more Headhunters. Then I'll make a Headman.

Image

I have no idea where this is going. I just really want to use up parts.

Image

A female firefighter to go with my team of firefighters.

Image

Vanessa Warfield

Image

A random PMC

Image

This one I still want to paint.

Image

Next up a four person sci-fi style crew.

Image

Image

Image

Image

I'm still waiting for Star Wars Geek to remake the set so I can finish my second Bokor.

Image

A random executioner

Image

This one is a cartoon character reimagined. I'm still picking out legs.

Image
Image

I have an idea for an ATR style HiTech and started on one of his many drones.

Image

And a random Jeep. I'm practicing lots of different weathering techniques on this one.

Image

I have quite a few more WIP vehicles but haven't snapped pics yet. I'll try to tomorrow.

I'm seeing that Vanessa Warfield one and wondering about that giraffe neck. It's throwing me off big time.

There's nothing left to be done about it. Under the mask is a stub where the neck used to be. 1 the mask has a long neck and 2 it's a bad pic. In hand it isn't as extreme as it looks in the pic. I tried half a dozen torsos, including Marauder and Boss Fight and this is the best one.

Thanks.

Yes I did. SWG did it first so I just copied his paint apps.

Young Samson & Goliath.

Wasn't sure anyone would remember that one. I have the full series on DVD. Such an underappreciated cartoon. I may make "normal" versions of the kid and the dog but more than likely they'll end up on my never ending WIP list.

That's unfortunate. It appears to be a detailed mask.

Without cutting the entire upper torso out of a figure and bashing on the mask, I don't see a workaround.

Building an entire articulated torso with working arm sockets from scratch might be nigh impossible... :(

What about sanding down everything under where the mask would attach? The collar of the mask would sit flush with the torso then.
