Commando remains one of my favorite of Schwarzenegger's films, and it's definitely the best thing Jeph Loeb's ever written. I picked up an Ahnold headshrink from AngryNomad before he shut down, and Matrix was always the plan for it. The design is near identical to Dutch, but I think Matrix fits even better in with Joe, and the fact that there was a 3 3/4th Matrix back in the day cinched it. Upper torso is interchangeable, gotta let Mr. Universe show off his physique after all, and I knew that paint wouldn't hold up removing the vest, so swappable was the best option.

You had me at John Matrix. I loved that movie as a kid and still spout off one liners from it to this day. Amazing job. Incredibly done and the torso swap is an excellent idea. Now you have to make Sully. He needs someone to drop off a cliff.(spoiler)

Awesome. I'm a big fan of the movie and this figure really does justice to the character.

The only things missing are his camo stripes, the 4 chamber rocket launcher, and Alyssa Milano.

I decided not to do the camo, since it was pretty scene specific. I wanted a Matrix that was a little more vanilla. Though I dunno, maybe he needs it. The FLASH rocket launcher needs to be made, and I may take a crack at his Valmet as well.

Yeah, I probably should do Bennett. I'll add him to the queue along with the rest of the Commando toyline.

Thanks everyone for the feedback!

YES!!!!! Of all the 80s movies to get toylines and Saturday morning cartoons, this was sadly left out. Commando was one of the first action movies I can remember sitting all the way through, mostly thanks to my older brother's crush/obsession with all things Milano. The over the top action, the one liners, and the good guy winning in this movie is still my measuring stick for all action movies and few have lived up to it. and now in much the same way, this custom has set a new measuring stick for all other movie homages and crossover characters. Fantastic work Mr. Hustler. Just please make sure Bennett gets the "Let off some steam" variant.
