needed them in my Python Patrol lineup so I decided to make them. I consciously decided to not using any parts from Airborne or Ripcord.

Saw these on FB, really like they are done as unique characters and not just repaints.

The paint looks a little thick, do you thin your paints?
Diggin' the parts you used, very nice!

Where are the custom Python "trooper + officer" from? Or is that project from Black Major?
The officer is awesome.

I dig these, JD. I can only imagine how much fun it was painting the camo on these guys, as I've never tried it myself and admittedly may even be scared to. Good to see you back.

The one on the far left is from Red Laser; the other two are from Black Major.

thanks for the welcome back, Jonah, that means a lot. It's good to BE back.
As for your fear of painting the python camo, well I had the same fear... then went ahead and did it anyway. It was a royal pain in the ass to do. But I surprised myself that I actually pulled it off if not as cleanly as I'd hoped, I'm happy with the results.

that was my goal, to really make them into individualized characters, I'm happy it worked (and now I'm planning more customs with the same mission in mind).

I thin the paints out, yeah, but some are particularly annoying no matter what. I don't have nearly the fodder parts selection in the part box I wish but it didn't inhibit too much for these.

agreed on the welcome back. And I like those head choices.

Good idea not doing them as repaints. Nice work.
