From the files of General A'bernathi:

Jaa's'n Fari'ah grew up on the meanest of the mean streets of Nar Shadda, running with some of the most deadly and violent gangs that particular hellhole had to offer. After several arrests and witnessing the horrific death of his older brother at the hands of a rival gang leader, Fari'ah saw the light and decided to put his vast knowledge of urban warfare to good use. He joined the Rebellion shortly after the battle of Hoth and was instrumental in the Alliance's victories on many worlds that featured dense, urban population centers. When not on missions with GI:JOE, Fari'ah serves as an urban response unit squad commander in Goth'am, one of the most crime-ridden districts of Galactic Center on Coruscant.

Fari'ah knows how to wage war successfully in the confined spaces characteristic of large urban sprawls. He can map out every alleyway and skywalk, tell you which refuse bins conceal hidden entranceways or boobytraps, and can even tell you the best places to find your favorite fast food all the while picking off insurgents with his custom blaster carbine/proton grenade launcher combo.

The shield Fari'ah carries is crafted from the same durosteel armor found on Imperial At-Ats and weighs several hundred kilos. A built in repulsorlift negates the shield's weight allowing Fari'ah to carry and maneuver it with ease (Fari'ah has also been known to pin enemies needed to be taken alive under his shield and then kill the repulsor restoring the shield's weight and trapping his opponent underneath while mopping up other, less important targets). It also contains a powerful micro shield generator that manifests a forcefield 1/4 centimeter below the shield's surface (just like shielding on a starfighter), enabling it to resist all but the heaviest fire for a sustained period of time.

Parts:
Head/hands- OTC Greedo (modded)
Body- TAC Baron Fel (heavily modded)
Armor- PTE SWAT (heavily modded)
Chest holster/blaster pistol- TSC Endor Luke Skywalker (modded)
Blaster carbine- custom
Shield- PTE (heavily modded)
Knife- G.I.Joe Duke v16

I had originally planned a much different base body for this figure, but when I saw the Fel body (and how it did not match anything close to anything Fel ever wore in the comics) I knew that it was just right for my urban supression specialist!

I've always loved the character of Shockwave, but this surpasses any of my expectations. Spec, you continue to amaze. Nice to see a familiar character brought into a vast realm with a entirely new take. I've said it before, and I'll say it again "Spectre and AV are the masters of merging lines together."

Great use of that body, it turned out nice.

Thanks guys!

I figured it was about time to revisit this line of customs :)

The rest of the team might have to wait to make their debut until their trip through the 'gate next year though......:shifty:

Very interesting. I alwasy think of Shockwave as blue, but green does not look too bad.

I gotta say, this one easily takes the prize for Surprise of the Day. Was not expecting a Greedo head here at all. But that's a good thing as it totally works here. Nicely done
