From 2004, this is Venomous Maximus.
I just went with the crazy. I toned down the facial distortions quite a bit. No more teeth jutting up from the lower jaw, either. Didn't see any reason to make the character look like an ogre. The design on the armor is much less ornate, and the uniform is streamlined. There are also splashes of red added.
To adjust for the oversized arm, I drew the torso/stomach area as being wider than that of the figure. It keeps a sense of proportions intact. In keeping with a wider frame, I didn't depict the corduroy-ish vertical texture on the pants.
