In a non-Tiger Force uniform.

The helmet is from the Just 4 Fun keychain pilot. Doesn't look right on the figure's head, so it's more of a prop than a working accessory.

Thanks!

It would have been a deviation from the original design, but I should have sculpted the life preserver that goes around the neck, just to make it look more pilot-like.

The parts are:

DCIH head from Superman
ARAH(ish) helmet from Fun 4 All Pilot
NS arms from Tunnel Rat
25A Barbecue/Ace/Snow Job Torso
25A Legs from Ace

I recognized the helmet right away, since I bought so many of those keychain sets on clearance from a KB outlet years ago.

Did your helmet have the little plastic thing that slid into the head?

I've pretty much embraced filling/smoothing the mid-torso articulation gap on most 25A figures, as well as the pin holes at the elbows and knees. Same for rivets on ARAH figures and the thigh screw insets on all formats. To me, they just ruin the visual flow of a figure. Each use of epoxy slows down the build by a day for it to cure, but it's worth it.

I removed the head plug from inside of the helmet, and then added a layer of epoxy which was pushed flat with the figure's head for a snug fit. The helmet is just a bit oversized for the figure's head. There's also something a bit off with its sculpt, too. Like the visor isn't quite up all the way or lowered all the way. It doesn't look right positioned either way.

Perfect head choice and great color scheme.

This Helmet: https://www.yojoe.com/action/04/backblast3.shtml
It came with Backblast and Cannonball may be a better fit if you can track one down.

Yes, that's a good helmet. So are the NS Ace and Slipstream ones. Lots of good stuff in the NS era, but not much appreciation for it.

I'll have to keep my eyes open for them.
