Post subject:  25th Sci Fi (V2) & Ripcord
Thanks to Chief and a few others, I've seen what can be done with the right accessories on the 25th figs. I've been trying to update a few that probably won't make it to Hasbro's list. Enjoy!

they both are very cool nice job. but there are 2 of the same pics for RC . i think thats the best custom of Sci fi V2 i have seen. i take it you like the 90s joes?

I think that is the only Sci Fi version 2 custom I've ever seen. He looks really good too. The Ripcord is kind of hard to tell from the pick. Do you have any better shots of his equipment?

Sorry about the double pic. I'm still new at this :-D
It's just coincidence about the 92 Joes. I just looked at what I could come up with accessories-wise to go with the basic body. I've got a Steeler, airtight and Lt Falcon I'm working on also.

Rip Cord looks great. So does Sci-Fi all though I think his elbow-thingys are a bit too big.

I'm not completely sold on Sci Fi though. I think it's his head that bugs me.

sci fi looks fine as long as the helmets on, that is one ugly melon...
the elbow pads are a little big too.
Ripcord is awesome though, nothing to complain about there anda ez enough custom if ya got the gear :-)

I like the head choice... it's weird but it gives him some character, definitely unique. But change the hair color, Sci-Fi's hair is black. :-P I'm a stickler for hair color consistency. Really cool to see a custom of him that's NOT a reincarnation of the obnoxious 1st version, this is a refreshing exercise in mixing up. Nice work!


Ripcord needs more gear/accessories methinks. HALO guys are nuts anyway to do what they do but their equipment has a LOT of parts that all serve a function, this custom just needs that IMO.

Yeah the head on Sci Fi doesn`t look too good. Especially since he had brown hair and this one is blond. Other than that very clever use of parts! Ripcord looks great!

Sci the body, well done. The head just screams Effects or Gears who ever had the snear near the end of the original line. Ripcord. Ah, the good ole days, but now 25 years later. Great job on him, the ball is so far out of the park its considered a UFO.
