  • Please do not link to a sale thread or to eBay from your critique thread. This section isn't to be used to market your finished work. The Market Place section is better suited for that purpose.

From 2007, here is Rowdy Roddy Piper.

Pulled into GI Joe lore as an Iron Grenadiers PT instructor, here I did my best to capture the likeness of the professional wrestler. I didn't follow the uniform design of the Collectors' Club action figure, but tried to make it look wrestler-ish. And since the man was best known as a wrestler, I had to throw in some Iron Grenadiers for him to be wrestling.

Awwwwe. RIP Rowdy Roddy Piper. He was one of my favourite wrestlers to watch. Amazing talent and also, alongside Sgt. Slaughter, an immortalized gem in G.I. Joe. I like how subtle you tried to make his look. I don't remember but was he a Cobra in the Joe line?

Thanks, guys!

I opted to ditch the kilt after it kept looking like a dress. There are probably nuanced differences between the two that would have made the kilt look correct, but I couldn't figure out how to make it work.
