* be a man among men is a moto or slogan of the rhodesian army and is used here in jest. the fn fal rifle was used all over the world, but these might be the most famous and ugliest .these fn fal rifles were my first purchase from marauder very early in my customizing odyssey. i no longer own one but i did at the time. i'd say the marauder is too small compared to modern figures especially next to the milled ak shown. i've wanted to paint them for years and the other night took the plunge. first i glued in all the mags and carry handles. i lost one over the years and that lead to the scoped rifle. the rack numbers were painted, removed, repainted several times to get them right. all of these images have had the brightness,contrast, and saturation filters tinkered with, and they look better than the pieces in hand.

Great stuff.

Adding the paint brings some realism and pulls out the details.
