My 2023 project is the A-Team, for its 40th anniverary.

First up is Faceman. Not intended to be either Dirk Benedict or Bradley Cooper, but the Storm Shadow hair was so Dirk Benedict-perfect I had to use it.

It's beautifully painted, well chosen parts, except for the asian face, in my opinion.

Thanks!

I'm curious, too. I churned out more of Remco's "The Bad Guys" than I thought I'd be able to in 2022, the 40th anniversary of that line. So I'm hoping to go for at least 5 figures and the van, then start on "bonus" figures.

Thanks, and I respect your dislike of the head.

I couldn't resist the hair.

The problem with that head is that it's perfect likeness of an actor. It's hard NOT to see Lee Byung-hun. It's the best likeness of any of the Rise of Cobra figures. I resculpted/bulked up the bridge of the nose to make it look look different than him, but not to make it look like any of the actors who've played Face (Tim Dunnigan, Dirk Benedict, or Bradley Cooper).

I like this take. Still impressed with the choice for the headsculpt. The hair is the 80s :)

That’s great. The hair is a great choice. I love the A-Team and they have been on my “To Do” list for years. This is giving me ideas

I think if you had done a light stubble, ala Bradley Cooper's take, it might take it a little more away from the original face sculpt (pun intended).

Thanks.

Yeah, using the 40th anniversary was a great excuse to do it. So, roll with your ideas!!

Yes, I agree.

However, I burned up that trick for this head years ago:

so I didn't want to repeat it here. Otherwise, I would have.
