Ratbat

Yet another Transformers characters pushed into GI Joe lore by the GI Joe Collectors' Club as a convention exclusive.

Grand Slam

One of the beloved OG13 characters/figures, Grand Slam has always had a low-key but loyal group of fans. The 1983 figure's silver pads (#257-A) enhanced Grand Slam's appearance and distance his uniform from Flash's.

Grand Slam's New Sculpt figure was a repaint of the NS Bazooka figure (which really felt more like Zap, but that's another story), but gave Grand Slam some facial stubble and a diagonally-slung bandolier. I blended these elements into my design, which is a very slight mod of the original design.

More great work.
Ratbat works perfectly.
Count me among the Grandslam fans. It was his appearance in GI Joe issue 82 that really sold me on him. Both color schemes really work for him.

Thanks!

I'm not a fan of the TF characters, but I'm sticking w the goal of "every Joe", so...

Yeah, I'm also a GS fan. The ONLY Joe to still not get an original, unshared head. Maybe 41 years is still not long enough for Hasbro to up its game?

I liked his uniform in Marvel around 1987 (featuring the fight against Raptor and the POGO), which had a flap over the chest but no padding.
