Some of you may recall my Thor fig from awhile back, where I made a swappable unhelmeted head by filing down the helmet and building a wig back up with Sculpy. Meh, frankly it wasn't satisfying at all and I've always wanted something better.

Now, thanks to the WWE figs, I've got it. They've made the longhairs HHH, Edge, and Undertaker with flexy rubbery material for their wigs, glued to the headpiece. So, I took HHH's wig off and put it on the unhelmeted Thor. I like it so much that I'll likely put HHH hair onto the helmeted head as well, once I find another HHH fig (or bash up a removeable helmet, maybe.

The head looks a lot better, but the neck doesn't look like it is the right color. Is it because of the camera?

Congrats on being one of the first to use the new WWE figures as custom fodder.
That does look cool. And yeah, what's up with the neck?

Yeah, the paint's nowhere near as pale in person. There's a diff, but not like virtual black and white seen here, lol.

Thor is a huge figure, HHH is not that undersized.

Yah, Thor's a big'un. HHH is dead-even with 25A Hawk from when I eyeballed them side-by-side. I've gotten all my wrestleheads at TRU so far. I picked up another Edge and HHH today for $14.~~ total, so they're running $7 & change with tax (which is 8 cents per dollar here in Texas, fwiw).

And, as promised, here's the helmeted head with the HHH hair grafted on now that I got a second HHH fig y-day. I had to remove the wings, chop off the top of HHH's wig and shave down the interior of the hair so it'd fit smooth against Thor's head. Unfortunately, this made the circumference of the wig more than Thor's head and the hair wrapped around nearly his whole head, so I had to cut some hair from the front sides to fit. I also cut it so it'd be a bit longer than the unhelmeted head's hair once I saw how short it was.

That hair makes the figure look even better. I saw the WWE figures today at Wal-Mart, they do all look on the small side.

They're only small if you need them to be big dudes compared to Joe figs. They're dead-even in height for 25A Joes from what I can eyeball.

I'll take your word for it, haven't seen them outta package yet.

Great job on Thor. That HHH head would be great for Sabretooth.

Yeah. They are perfect height wise for the 25th anniversary Joes... You jsut want them, since thye are such big hulking guys in real life, to be larger but still in scale.

For myself, that really changes how I'm going to use them for customs.
