I've stumbled upon a Canon 3D website that allows you to download template cutouts to make small 3D backgrounds, perhaps for a dio or a figure pose. It should be great to re-enact those '80s Sunbow cartoon episodes in dios. Adobe Acrobat Reader is required. Canon 3D Papercraft http://cp.c-ij.com/english/3D-papercraft/index.html If you click on the link to "Buildings of the World" , it'll show a list of papercraft modeled after existing monuments: Choose from titles: • Kumamoto Castle, Japan New! • Tower of London, England • Castel Sant'Angelo, Italy • Belem Tower, Portugal • Osaka Castle, Japan • Eiffel Tower, France • Eiffel Tower (Separate Night and Day Models), France • Sydney Opera House, Australia • Gasshozukuri, Japan • Sultan Ahmet Camii, Turkey • Neuschwanstein Castle, Germany • Statue of Liberty, United States of America • Forbidden City, China • Temple of the Inscriptions, Mexico • Taj Mahal, India • Arc de Triomphe, France • Bigben, England • Great Pyramid of Khufu, Egypt • Leaning Tower of Pisa, Italy • Moai Statues of Easter Island, Chile • Windmill, Holland • The Parthenon, Greece • Tower Bridge, England • The Great Buddha of Todaiji Temple, Japan • Colosseum, Italy • Sphinx, Egypt • Himeji Castle, Japan • Mont-Saint-Michel, France • Notre-Dame de Paris, France Have fun =) |

I downloaded the 'Convenience Store' pdf out of their Craftown section, and am in the process of blowing it up to 3 3/4" scale. So far, the 4-page project scales up to 17 pages, plus the roof which I'm going to guess is 4 more. (2 pages per wall, 9 pages for the parking lot.) Still, it's very cute. ![]() |
