Here's my take on Night Force in the 25th style. These are simple repaints of a few characters based on the 2004 Night Force colors. I still have a few touch-ups to do, but they are pretty much done. As always, let me know what you think. :-)

i would think gung ho's freaky pale ass would stick out in the night. i don't have any of those figs in front of me, but didn't they have some black striping on them to serve as "camo" (even flint's face...they got the man in the face!)

edit: they look cool so far. which green did you use for that color on their vests and is that the cobra night watch machine gun or did you paint it black?

PaidLoad has a point about the flesh tone of Gung Ho. It does jump out a bit, but since your intent was to go with straight repaints of the figures, I can see your reasoning.

Roadblock is my favorite. Such a massive improvement over the Hasbro version.

I like these very cool, although I still like the original Night Force color sceme. It gave them thier own identity.

the absolute best thing about them is that you went with the 2004 color scheme. I'm crazy about how the green looked with the gray camo pants, it was a whole new and far cooler motif for the Night Force and those customs all rock the colors with style.

impressive actual paint work too, the coats look super smooth.

awesome!

Thanks for the comments guys. I think I'll take the advice and paint some camo on Gung-Ho's arms and face.

PaidLoad, to answer your question, the green is Krylon Hunter Green Satin. The machine gun is actually the one that came with the original #24 Comic Book pack a couple of years ago (The one with RB, Duke and Destro).

When TF Flint is released in May, I plan on picking up an extra to add to my Night Force squad. :-)
