Much like the 25A Breaker-repainted-to-be-Crankcase head drove Carnage crazy, I can't stand Hasbro's lazy use of the complete Flash figure to make Grand Slam.

Hasbro did a good enough mixing parts up on Crankcase's body at least. I would have like to have seen a different head as well as Cobra Commander's arms or legs thrown onto the Flash body to make Grand Slam more its own figure.

For now, a head swap will keep me happy. I replaced the repainted Flash head with the 25A Fred head (with the hair and eyebrows repainted).

I think it works for GS, does his helmet still fit?
I agree GS needs a different head as does all the figures so they aren't clones...

Oh, that rocks. The Fred head looks much better in brown than blond.

I really like the use of this head for original thirteen guys, I was going to use it for Short Fuze but decided I didn't want to sacrifice a CG, haha. I ended up using a rebel fleet trooper head from the tative IV star wars battle pack for my Grand Slam. It really drives me crazy that they would use that head for three of the original thirteen, a little too cheap for my taste.

Glad you like it, guys.

The helmet fits, but it is a little snug and the ears are a bit exposed. When the visor is down, it looks alright.
