Okay, that's it for Timelords. I am currently working on Doctor's 5, 6 and 7. For now, here are some of the bad guys: The Cybermen:. I based these on one of the earlier appearences in the 1960's (The Moonbase and The Invasion). The Cyberlcontroller and the Cyberleaders in the first picture are made from Lanard CORPS figures. The basic Cybermen are PTE Marines. I have one of the Dapol PVC figurines of the Moonbase Cybermen, so I made a mold of teh head and the chest piece and cast them in resin. Azal and Bok (from The Daemons) Azal The base figure was a 12 inch Action Man. The face and hair were sculpted over the top with milliput, same for the horns. The fake fur is from a ladie's hat cut up, and the hooves are also milliput. I cut off the feet and drilled and piined the hooves to keep them in place. Bok Used a PTE scuba diver as the base plus an awful lot of sculpting: Mr. Sin: (the Peking Homonculous from Talons of Weng-Chiang) Figure: Marty (Pirates of the Caribbean: World's End) I had to completely remodel the face and head. Sutekh: (from Pyramids of Mars) Figure: Power Team Elite SEAL. with lots of sculpting. and last (for now) and by no means the least: Davros: Head: Palpatine, modded Upper body and arms: Hi-Tech Base: cast and scratch built from Genesis of the Daleks: Doctor: Davros, if you had created a virus in your laboratory. Something contagious and infectious that killed on contact. A virus that would destroy all other forms of life, would you allow its use? Davros: It is an interesting conjecture. Doctor: Would you do it? Davros: The only living thing, the microscopic organism, reigning supreme! A fascinating idea. Doctor: But would you do it? Davros: Yes. Yes. To hold in my hand, a capsule that contained such power. To know that life and death on such a scale was my choice. To know that the tiny pressure on my thumb, enough to break the glass, would end everything. Yes. I would do it. That power would set me up above the gods. And through the Daleks I shall have that power! |

Boogman wrote: Props, long-time Doctor Who fan here. GOOD work. Go make a Dalek. You just gave me an excuse to take some fresh pictures. All of these Daleks were made years ago when I was starting out customising. The Special Weapons Dalek is the newest one and that is about 5 years old now. The Black Dalek is a pewter model I bought back in the 1980's, from a firm that is now very sadly out of business. I made a mold of it and cast the Daleks in resin plaster. The Special Weapons, Davros and the battle computer use cut down casts. Davros (Genesis of the Daleks) Kaled Security Chief Nyder (Genesis of the Daleks): Head: ARAH, can't remember which Body: POTF2 Grand Moff Tarkin Dalek Task Force Human Trooper (Resurrection of the Daleks): Eversparkle figure Dalek Battle Computer (Rememberance of the Daleks): Polly Pocket figure, modded. Emperor Dalek (Remeberance of the Daleks): Imperial Daleks (Rememberance of the Daleks): Special Weapons Dalek (Rememberance of the Daleks): Gold Dalek (Planet of the Daleks): Red Dalek: Silver Daleks: Movie Dalek and Roboman: and if you want a laugh, here is a very short dio story I did a while back: Page 1: http://i22.photobucket.com/albums/b317/ ... ture1a.jpg Page 2: http://i22.photobucket.com/albums/b317/ ... ture2a.jpg Oh, and for any Dalek fans out there, I strongly suggest that you check out this site: http://www.alteredvistas.co.uk/ They do some really great mini films based on the 1960's and 1970's comic strips and now one of the stage plays. |
