okay so the new Joker from the non-premium Dark Line sucks ass. my girlfriend pointed out it looked like Beeteljuice with green hair. Michael Crawford said it looked cartoony. I liked what the sculptor was trying to do with the floppy hair but there wasn't enough of it. And the colors on the whole figure it was atrocious and not very Joker-like.

so I fixed it. added the scarring to the cheeks, some skin texture to the forehead and bridge of his nose, and more hair. then I repainted him to be more appropriately JOKER.

Ok, I read this as "BK Joker" and thought that you'd managed to mash up the Burger King "King" with the Joker.

Which is actually an awesome idea - I officially challenge you to find a way to do it.

Raptor: Wake up screaming with the King.

Wow, I really didn't think about the Beetlejuice look until you posted it. Tell your GF she has a good eye. I really like your fix, but with one minor critique. Maybe mix a little white and flesh tone on the face to give the runny, chaotic feel of the movie Joker.

Very nice fix to the figure JD. The sculpting addition to the air really improves the overall appearance of the figure and the texture you gave him really changed him from campy cartoony to down right evil looking.

thanks, Eric, totally evil is exactly what I was hoping for, it's nice to know I accomplished it!

I looked at it again, and its Philip Seymour Hoffman as the Joker.

Raptor: Which BTW would be awesome.

Gary Buesee (spelling?) as the Joker. He is like the real life Joker of our time.

Nice figure by the way.

He would be great, then again, hes one of the best actors in the world, so he's good as anything.

He's certainly one of the most flexible and the most underrated.

And I don't think that Heath will be doing the sequel. :shifty:

JD,

That is a great Joker. You really did give him a grittier and meaner look.
