With the arrival of Red Star in the 25th line and the great russian figs from the Indy line, I figured it was time to make the Oktober Guard. I started small with Lt Gorky a while back:

viewtopic.php?f=14&t=7850&hilit=25th+Lt+Gorky

So, here is the second member of my 25th style Oktober Guard: Shrage.

I still need to adjust the flesh tones between the head and the neck. Aside from that I'm pretty happy with the way it turned out.

Let me know what you think.

Since I already made Gorky and Shrage, I figured I would try my hand at Dragonsky. So here he is. Let me know what you think.

Continuing my 25th Oktober Guard project, I started thinking about Sgt Mischa. The trouble I had with this custom is finding an appropriate head. After searching through new Joes and Star Wars heads, I decided to just go ahead and cut off the one from the old Comic Pack.

So here is the fourth member of my new Oktober Guard: Sgt Mischa Zubenkov

Let me know what you think.

Here is the fifth member of my Oktober Guard: Big Bear.

I still have a few touch-ups to do, but I'm pretty happy with the result.

Let me know what you think.

Thanks Beav. I guess I should have done that in the first place.

And thanks for the feedback guys. I'm happy you like them so far. I hope to round out the roster with Col Brekhov, Daina and Stormavik (and of course, Red Star) pretty soon.

WOW! Very nice, but how about a parts list, especially for that awesome Dragonsky.

Here are a couple of pics of the vehicle. It is a repainted (by me) version of a the CORPS! Rhino Missile Assault Vehicle. Originally, I had intented it to be the Wolverine MK II. However, it looks more like something the russians might have in the arsenal, so I'll probably display it with my new Oktober Guard. I still need to add some painted details and make some stickers for it.

Thanks,

OB

Thanks for the vehicele pic OB, your OG's are sure gonna ride in style with it. I can't wait to see it when you're done.
