For those of you that know me, I'm a sucker for most anything Alley Viper, especially version one. However, I got a cast head from the project give back box and with a Firefly body, decided to take a different direction. I decided to remake the 98 Alley Viper that came with the TRU Rage.

I'll be the first to admit that I'm not much on modding, so the head was pushing the envelope for me. I think it turned out ok. Other self critiques--I could not get the arms to take paint like I wanted so they ended up being all black; the head sits a bit high on the neck; and seeing the white spots in the picture tells me I need to go back over them again. All that being said, it was a fun custom and satisfying to finish.

Any input would be appreciated! Jimmy

Spiffy JB. The only critiqing I have for it is that you should glue some gear to the torso to make him look a little more loaded down.

Good job bro,
Yeah, besides the crit things you listed, it looks groovy. Now they need to rerelease the Rage tank for 25th to go with.. :shifty:

I think he looks really cool! If you added some web gear to his chest and maybe changed out the arms to some bulkier ones (I personally never liked the beachhead/firefly arms, too skinny) I think he could be that much better. Still, very nicely done and perfect head sculpt mods, too! Nice job!

Nice to see customs from you again.
And it is very nice to see another version of the AV other than the standard orange and blue, and I think you pulled it off perfectly. Now do the yellow and black one :D

I agree he needs pouches or something. At least on hsi chest to bulk him up some. You also need to go back over the white partsof the camo. I really like the head. I think that works nicely.

looks like it could use some more pouches or web gear, possibly cut some up and glue them to his legs and chest or somehting.

Thanks for all the tips guys! I'll pull out Firefly's gear and add some pouches to him. What arms should I swap with?

Pluv, I completely agree with your assessment of the white camo. I need to go get some acryl white to finish that up.

HH, if you want it...I'll sell it to you :p
