Micro Mesh ideal for sanding plastics and stabilized materials. Lasting up to 15 times longer than traditional abrasives, Micro Mesh is available from 1,500 to 12,000 grit. The 1,500 is a little coarser than 600 grit sandpaper.
The 12,000 is fine enough that the scratch pattern cannot be seen by the eye. Satin finishes are achieved at the 3,600 grade through the 6,000 step. Wet sanding is recommended possible for maximum abrasive life and optimum results. Kits include foam sanding block and instructions. Sheets are 3" x 6".
The basic kit includes 2 of each grit: 1500, 1800, 2400, 3200 and 3600, one special foam sanding block and instructions.
The Super Finishing Kit includes 2 of each grit: 4000, 6000, 8000, 12000, one special foam sanding block and instructions.
Foam Block is made with Flexible Foam- 1" x 2" x 3"
