Got a tip to share? Have a question about the hobby? Need input on parts or weapons? Have great idea for a custom figure or vehicle? Too lazy to do it, or just want to share the idea with others? All that and more goes in here.

could anyone enlighten me on how to swap out the forearms for Valor Vs venom new sculpt figures?

Boil N Pop always works for me.

Basically, I grab a pan, fill it with water, and toss the parts in that I wanna swap. Turn up the heat and then mind the parts so they don't touch the sides of the pans. You want to wait until tiny bubbles form all over the parts and when the water starts to boil just a little pull them out.

Be careful, as the parts will sometimes have this hot water inside of them. Also, they cool quickly so just suck it up, schoolgirl. :-P

Anyhoo, it's simply a matter of applying pressure from there, boss.

As an add on to what Billy said, just put a cup of water in the old nuker- usually about a minute and a half gets it hot enough, then drop your parts in.

I just use scalding hot water, out of the tap.

Be careful when you drop them in though, because depending on the vessel you are using, dropping in the parts may caused the water to erupt into boilng, which may scald you if your hand is in the wrong place.

A hair dryer works too and doesn't make as much mess. And on a disgusting note; your mouth should be 98.6 degrees F, that's hot enough to soften the plastic to remove the pin that goes through the forearm and the swivel.
