Plasti-Kote Question

Hey everyone,

Has anyone ever experimented with Plasti-kote automotive paints, particularly the 'clear' brand as a sealer? I have recently heard of alot of folks using automobile paints with varies success, and would like to give it a try... but if it eats plastic or never dries, why bother, right? So, I ask the experts first.

I've used one of their "short cuts" spray paints and wasn't too happy.

It might just be my base, but the paint finished with a tacky glossy feel, and wasn't very durable at all. Also it didn't fill out very well...I'm used to Krylon filling in the low detail areas as well as the higher raised areas...this really just seemed to go on extra thick on the raised areas.
