Mis-matched parts rant

Got a tip to share? Have a question about the hobby? Need input on parts or weapons? Have great idea for a custom figure or vehicle? Too lazy to do it, or just want to share the idea with others? All that and more goes in here.

So I was working on making a Shockwave custom and I was going to use the lower legs from Tracker for the sneakers look. I sanded down his legs and some of the stuff buldging from his shoes and then used Green stuff to give him a long pants leg look. After modifing some other pieces I had the whole figure (except for the head that is on the way...thank you GTG) ready to do some touch up sanding/smoothing and then painting and sealing. As I was getting ready to do the sanding I finally noticed something....the left foot is bigger than the right foot. First I was pissed at Hasbro for their faulty design. Then I was pissed at myself for having done all that work and not noticed the size difference sooner. Anyway now I have to replan the legs. I'm thinking of using the Wild Card lower legs since his shoes look more like Chuck Taylors than the Tracker shoes do (and the Wild Card feet match in size).
Tracker is the second figure that had mis-matched parts that I wanted to use. The other one was Lowlight V2. His left upper leg is bigger than his right.
Has anyone else noticed other mis-matched parts on other Joe ARAH figures? It would be great to make a master list so others can refer to it.

I don't know about obvious mis-matches, but my Major Barrage came from DTC with two right forearms. That was a pain, since I planned on making molds of the forearms for super hero customs.

Repeater's left calf was fatter than his right. As much as I loved that figure it drove me crazy as a kid and he didn't see much field time because of it.

And yes I do have a bit of OCD.

I'm the same way. If the parts don't match I'm not using them together. If I can find another Tracker cheep enough on ebay I'll probably pick him up and see about pairing up the matching feet and use them for a different figure, but for now I have to move on in a different direction (which I think may work better anyway since my sculpting skills aren't all that) with Shockwave. Sadly there is nothing I can do now with the Lowlight upper legs which is a shame since besides that the waist, upper and lower legs have a cool look together.
