Good question. Also, what sounds do the other weapons make? Yojoe describes the SAW-Viper MG as making Sound #12, and Spearhead's rifle as making #4. What other sounds are there, and which weapons have them in common?
If you take a wrench or screwdriver and go out to a light pole that has the metal support wires holding it in the ground, take something to record the sound and tap the wrench to the support wire and it makes the laser sound they used in Star Wars.
