Transparent plastic...where do I get it?

For my casting of the Napalms(Cesspools "family")

I'd like to cast some astro viper(modded) helmets in transparent plastic.

Any idea where to get this transparent plastic which I will later dye? I am trying to get the helmets transparent purple...Since those are the colors of the troopers.

I'm pretty sure you can pick up a clear two-part resin over at Michael's, in that aisle where they have Sculpey, molding & casting supplies, and all that other ginchy-keen customizing stuff. At my local store, it's the same place where they have all the spray paint.

Never worked with that particular resin, but I've read that the more dye you add to the mix, the more brittle the plastic may become.
