Einhander fighter suggestions?

So, I'd really like to have an 18th Einhander fighter. For those of you not in the know, Einhander was a PSX game, with the Einhander being a Gundam-esque fighter with a manipulator arm hanging down beneath. The arm would pick up various weapons packs to shoot up the bad guys, along with putting weapons on various other sockets on the ship when it came across an additional weapon pack, for multi-destruction.

I don't have a clue if there's anything out there in the toyworld related to Einhander, and I wouldn't think any of it would be easy to find since the game's at least ten years old now.

I'm sure making one would be a large endeavor, but if I could find a suitable base craft for it, I'd give it a stab. I don't want the thing to be huge and perfectly in scale (it'd prolly be about 5 feet long if so), and the traditional scale warpage we're familiar with in the Joe and SW vehicles is fine with me.

So, any ideas?

The closest thing I can think of to that shape is the Sigma 6 Firebat, but you'd have to do a hell of a lot of work to it and it would be really out of scale. I suppose you could work in that this is an updated smaller prototype. The good thing is that it has the right curve from the neck to the cockpit and the swept wings. Oh and while this is for the 2.5" figures people were able to easily mod this for 1/18.

Easiest mods to make somthing like that, I think would come from the Sigma Six DragonHawk. you could even keep the capture play ability and make some big guns for it to pick up.

Some sky Striker wings, Defiant doors and you're prolly getting pretty close to what you want.

THe other thing I was thinking is that it sorta looks like a Persuader with Skystriker Wings.
